SRK, MNIK, Shiv Sena and the falling Maharashtra

Date February 11, 2010

Does Shahrukh Khan, the king of Bollywood, need to do any self-publicity? I say NO, and he isn’t doing it if people are saying that. Come on guys, have some sense. No one risks their national status just for a movie. Everything done here, is by SHIV SENA. The head-to-toe of all this is just the Thackareys who are playing it all around with the sentiments of their Marathi language, and unnecessarily bringing out religious clashes out of nothing.

bal thackarey shahrukh

I’m no SRK fan, nor I’m a Khan.. am a Hindu who gives more value to nation than to a religion. Here is what SRK tweeted, on what he feels about the entire issue -

  • feel awful that balasahib & udhav have misconstrued my words. the reactions of the sena workers seems to make me believe that.

1.2 Billion people, 1411 tigers!

Date February 10, 2010

India, a country where 1.2 billion people are living, there are just 1411 tigers left. And we Indians call Tiger as our National Animal. Its a shame on people who are on a rage to destroy this species just to make their living.

Tigers are a part of the cat family. They were seen in a great number, and over a few years, the number of these tigers have been reduced to a countable number.

Why is the number so low?

Its nothing natural. Everything is due to the human evil activities. A couple main reasons behind this -

  • Clearing of forests and habitats

When there is hope, there is everything! – For Harish Iyer

Date January 16, 2010

Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. ~Albert Einstein

You need to have hope, rest is always assured fine ahead. This is what I have always seen in the mind of Harish Iyer, one of the inspirational persons around, who has always hoped for the a bright future, not for just himself but for every child around.
Here is something about him -

“I started speaking up slowly for animal rights. I then started standing up for myself. I found recognition, and support, and decided to speak up. Sadly, but not to my surprise, I have found many more boys open up to me in anonymity… I help them as much as I can and later direct them to psychotherapists….. I am 30 now. It has taken me years to comprehend that I am not a remnant of my past. I have made a conscious decision to speak about child sexual abuse, because ignorance about sex abuse didn’t help me. And the one who wrote ‘ignorance is bliss’ had the dictum working for him. I cannot be him.”” - Harish Iyer, adult survivor of child sexual abuse!

The unresolved case of innocent Ruchika – Still no justice

Date January 5, 2010

Fight for Justice - Not just for Ruchika, but for society!Ruchika Girhotra – An innocent girl, who had just entered his teen life, an upcoming tennis player for the country, from a very simple and good family, became a victim of molestation under the evil hands of a man who had all the powers to control her, make her silent, make her family silent and suffer, everything he could do just to see himself safe from all this. She was just 14-year old, and S.P.S Rathore was the IG of Haryana Police.

Things happened since the day Ruchika was molested -

  • She was molested in 1990, and she could not react to it, and could not tell her that to her parents easily. After gaining enough courage, she told all that and her parents helped her file a case against Rathore. Since then things worsened for Ruchika and her family.

Telangana bandh today – 30th December 2009

Date December 30, 2009

What an end of the year we are coming to. Fights, sex scandals, politics, bomb blasts, injustice to people and much more. This has been the month of December in India and its still not done. Today on 30th December 2009, its a Telangana bandh in support for a separate state.

As I go out of my house here in Hyderabad, i see tents laid by Army jawans and para-military groups who are ready to tackle and stop riots that can occur today. Is this what Hyderabad, one of the best cities in India has to see in the end of the year?
And not just that, around 165 suburban and local trains have been canceled for today and reports are that The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) has also suspended the services, which will bring all the transport to a halt.

Telangana Chief K. Chandrasekhar Rao said,

16 years! No help, no justice. Life of the murdered Ruchika

Date December 28, 2009

Ruchika’s case being dragged. But no justice yet, CBI too playing a role in hiding the things. Today, 16 years back on 28th December 1993, Ruchika committed suicide unbearable of all the situations around her. But still we consider it as a murder, a horrid act by the top cop SPS Rathore who was responsible for what all happened.

The culprit SPS Rathore who went to become one of the best policemen of Haryana, after silently hiding what all he had done with his evil side, with his power of law.
Ruchika, 16 years back had committed suicide on December 28th, due to the forces on her from every way Rathore could put on her. She was molested, but it didn’t end there. Rathore had put the pressure on the whole family, including her father and brother.
