A million dollars can get you a good home for life, and adding a couple more million to it would make it a luxurious home sweet home, with all that you need right in front of you. But it would be a crazy thing if someone buys a mobile phone for more than 3 million dollars. Its for sale, at the price of $3.12 Million and called the iPhone Supreme! The price in Indian rupees as of today is Rs. 14,22,10,000.
Its an iPhone 3GS mobile phone studded with diamonds and made using 22 carat gold. The gold weighs 271 grams, and there are a total of around 200 diamonds on it.

The front side has 136 diamonds totaling 68 carats and the Apple logo on the back is made from 53 diamonds. The navigation button in the front bottom is made from a single diamond which is of 7 carats. Designer Stuart Hughes, from Liverpool, Merseyside made this piece after working on it for ten months.

One of the sites where I always love to read and write for, Mumbaikar! No, am not from Mumbai but that’s not what you need to be to write there, or read the various scribbles written by others. I love the site, as it gives everything, every information you need about the busiest and buzzed up place of the country – Mumbai.
Opening the website and getting updated with the latest news of mumbai, the weather, the events and all, is not always possible. We have our busy lives, and not always have ourselves seated in front of the computer. We need something that can make life easier.. we have mobile phones, uhh yeah the iPhones!
And here is how Mumbaikar makes your life easy -

iPhone Dev team was delaying the release of tool for jailbreak of iPhone 3GS running on iPhone 3.0 firmware but another team called Geohot has released a tool already which is called Purplera1n and its going to jailbreak iPhone 3GS 3.0 firmware.
Its what many new iPhone users were waiting for and this unexpected release would bring in many tries from users, though its a tool released for only windows right now. Mac users just sit silently and watch until the mac version is released for public.
The total procedure and download link are given in the post that i shared above.
Funny to see that iPhone Dev Team used to come with tools like sn0w and these guys now come with ra1n but its rain for everyone who wanted a jailbreak for their iPhone 3GS running on 3.0 firmware.

After i unlocked the iPhone 3G months back, when it was on 2.1 firmware now its become easier for me to unlock the phone and i did the same with 3.0 firmware based iPhone 3G using a couple tools released by the iPhone dev team.
Then it was yellowsn0w but now the other new sn0w products are redsn0w to jailbreak and ultrasn0w to unlock the iPhone 3G. The typo in the title intentional. redsn0w is a much easier tool that Pwnagetool and Quickpwn 3.0 to jailbreak the iPhone and accept 3rd party apps like Cydia and Icy.
It just took a few minutes for the jailbreaking to be done, and after that a few more minutes in the iPhone to install ultrasn0w through Cydia.
For those interested, you can read this tutorial to unlock iPhone 3G 3.0 firmware where i posted all the screenshots and explained it in the easiest way to make you understand how it can be done.

The rumor that has spread all around right now is that the new iPhone releasing in a few days is going to be called “iPhone Video“. Just because its going to have the video recording option, the name is to be changed???
Accd. to TUAW, the AT&T support website is already showing the name below the names of previous phones like iPhone 3G etc. And really, if that name is coming for real, then many would hate it like me. Video recording is nothing big and new in the gadget world.
In a reseller store of iPhones, this phone was named V3 which could be the Version 3, or the Video 3G which in my view, would be a very bad name given to one of the most interesting gadgets.
I had listed the iPhone expected features list, which had the video recording and MMSing of those videos.

The most sleek and smartest phones of 2008, the Apple iPhone is going to show many changes in its model, interface and many other things in the coming new model expected next month.
It had beat Nokia N97, HTC Diamond and many others which were called the iPhone Killers but still iPhone is an all time favorite for majority of gadget geeks in the world.
Here are a few newer things you would see in the iPhone 2009 -
- 3.2 Megapixel camera, against the earlier 2 Megapixel one! So the already popular still camera gets better this time!
- Various versions of space – 4 GB, 8 GB, 16 GB and 32 GB are the 4 types in which the new iPhone is expected to come.
- Capaility to capture/record/edit videos from the iPhone camera – This was never a feature except some 3rd party apps which were helping with that. But now video recording is coming as default.

bNo, don’t get shocked with the names. These are the ones with which Sony Ericsson is launching the new range of smartphones with 12, 8, 5 Megapixel cameras and many other multimedia features.
I still keep wondering why Sony tries to have the weirdest names in the Gadget world.
The first is Sony Ericsson Satio, which was earlier rumored as Idou, and its coming with Symbian S60 v5 OS. The Sony Ericsson Satio will be available in Black, Silver and Bordeaux colors and will come with color-matching headphones and a 8GB microSD card in the retail package.

Next, is Sony Ericsson Aino, which comes with 8-Megapixel camera. Not just that, it has a 3-inch touchscreen and heavy multimedia features. Design is not very much new or creative, and its a slider phone!
