TRS protesting hard against Center’s decision on Telangana
After center decided to delay the process and decisions of the Andhra Pradesh state separation into Andhra and Telangana, TRS party people, ABVP student unions, Osmania university and Nizam college students started protesting against it, and called off a state-wide bandh for 48-hours.
It started so bad that many buses, vehicles were set ablaze and glasses of every mall being broken, party workers hold dharnas on the middle of the roads.
The situation is still out of control and people running around with stones, hitting the policemen and shouting the “Jai Telangana” slogans.
Here is a video I just captured in Chaitanyapuri area, Hyderabad where the riots are still going on. People on the roads shouting, burning tyres and stuff, throwing stones on police, not caring whether people would get injured..
Update: Just saw in the news that the strike and bandh has been called off due to the Christmas eve, and situation will slowly calm down likely.
And Times of India reports,
Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) chief K. Chandrasekhara Rao today warned that any dilly dallying on the formation of Telangana state from Andhra Pradesh would spark a fire “which even the military will not be able to control” “I want to appeal to the prime minister to start the process of formation of Telangana state as early as possible. If there is democracy and constitution, this just and legitimate demand of the people should be accepted,”.
He appealed to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh not to drag the issue further and declare a Telangana state as early as possible.

Who is to control them? only themselves!
Sad state of our country, buddy.. Hope things settles down at the earliest
