Be a santa for people around you, this Christmas
Santa claus is the biggest name you would hear around when its the Christmas eve, and he is believed to bring home some gifts for the kids on the evening or night hours of Christmas day. Have you ever seen Santa in real? I bet you didn’t. So why not become a Santa for people in need, around you?
Believe me, i saw one friend of mine do this. He wanted to do this to satisfy himself seeing people happy when they get something unexpected. But he was noticed doing it, and was liked more for that. You don’t need this to show people how caring or generous you are, you should do it to make yourself happy by seeing happiness in other’s eyes.
We are talking about charity, good deed and your a cause here.
Make 25th December your best day of the year, although the year is going to end in just 5 days after that, you should remember you did something to make others feel good about it. Donate something, don’t think of how much you donated, how much time you dedicated. Just do it. No one would comment when you are doing something for a good cause.
Let me share an idea here..
You always might find poor and needy children roaming on the streets, collecting rags, or working for wages etc. Give something to them that might come to their use.
I was out of ideas, and asked my fellow tweeps about it. They were awesome enough with their suggestions and you too can steal these ideas, no one blames you for that when you are doing it for nice deed
- First see if you are trying to gift things to kids, then whether the kid is school going or not. If you could dedicate some time, and some good money then the best is to sponsor education for them. A couple of kids is enough, if you feel its out of budget for a group of kids. If they are already school going, then gift some goodies that promote their education as well, and make them happier with what they got -
- Stationery – attractive pencils, note books(you might see the Classmate brand notebooks with attractive covers etc.), crayons with plane books etc.
- Chocolates, cookies, sweets, or a meal i.e. lunch or dinner on the day of christmas. It might be a festival for you, but a normal food-starving day for them. You can lighten it for them with something they eat and fill their hungry stomach with.
- Dolls/toys, hairbands and ribbons for girl kids
- Dress materials like shirts, blankets to cover them during the cold, sweaters that would need the purpose while they are shivering on cool nights.
There are many many things that you can do, just you need to keep yourself motivated for such things. Not everyone is blessed with budget to get things like these done, but those who are, they should at least realize and try to change and brighten the world around you.
Merry Christmas Santa Claus

My friend Priyanka and other enthusiatics (Pankhudi Bangalore (http://pankhudifoundation.org) are taking classes at SRMAB(a blind school) and Seva Shishu Aasram(Orphanage home) on every Saturday and Sunday. On the eve of Christmas we have decided to take the Orphanage home kids to WonderLa on 25th Dec, as they have never been to that place and wanted to go. We have 52 kids. On final discount, we got ticket on the rate of 240. So, 52*240 = 12480 + 5000(Food) + Bus(6000)= 23480/-
Let me know if anyone of u are willing to help.
