One day, Rs. 53,417 for Charity – #deepwish
Yesterday, a few great people on twitter started this deepwish and it went so viral and so big that just a few hours were enough to collect Rs. 53,417 from more than 40 contributors and all due to the love and help from people on twitter. It was a small initiative by Anaggh, supported by b50 and went very well that people started joining in and announced their donations etc.
The complete list of contributors is here and everything that has been collected, will be forwarded to Goonj, a voice, an effort! People were still interested to donate more, but the counting procedure etc. everything was not easy, and the call was made at night itself, to end it with this appreciable amount counted by @b50 and @anaggh
Started as Rs. 0.25 per wish by @anaggh it went to Rs. 63.75 per wish later with the support from so many amazing tweeps! Check anaggh’s post, Shayon’s post and prolificd’s post and b50’s post!

All this has brought enough motivation in me, which I soon will show up with an idea I have in my mind. I hope that time the same janta helps and supports me on the call. Its with a national organization, where bringing up of children from slums and educating them, is the main focus. Soon, will let you all know about it.
