The unforgotten hero for India – Bhagat Singh

bhagat singhWhen talking about freedom fighting, there are a few names we instantly remember a few great people, one of them who made our present life independent, in the Golden Parrot of the world, India, is Shaheed Bhagat Singh. One name every India should and would remember for what he was, and what he did for the nation.

Born today in 1907 (September 28, 1907), he entered the world with only one motive in life – Sacrifice for the nation. He was one of those who changed the way people used to see the country and changed the direction of the revolutionary movement in India.
What we are living today is all due to those freedom fighters who lived and died for us when we were still not born in the slavery era of India. Jalianwala Bagh massacre took place when Singh was just 12 years old, and this was one big time in his life which changed his thoughts and ideas on how to drive the British control out of the country.

He then met many other political freedom fighters and his ideas were opposite to Mahatma Gandhi’s thoughts, and he believed in violence and armed revolution to gain independence for the country. Most of his life story days of freedom fighting were well portrayed in the films like “The Legend Of Bhagat Singh” etc. where he, with other two freedom fighters Sukh Dev and Raj Guru were awarded death sentence and were hanged later.

Today, 102 years after his birth, still we remember Shaheed Bhagat Singh and salute for what he did for the country. He was born for us, and died for us. What he got from all this? the love from motherland and the whole nation. His sacrifice would never be forgotten!
