Twitinterview #7 with Srushti @Srushtirao

Twitinterview, as i always say, is a way to get to know more about people and their tweeting world. Here is one with one of the amazing tweeps..

Srushti Rao Ji(i call her with the suffix Ji very often) is one of the funniest and coolest tweep i have been interacting with recently. She is worth interviewing, and worth worth worth following if you are tweeting and interacting for pure fun! Her handle @Srushtirao

1. Introduce yourself briefly?
I am a corporate communication professional, and for fun I dance and am a pakka prankster… love life and live and let live…

2. Since when are you tweeting and what do you tweet about more frequently?
I think I started in April 2009, and I tweet almost everyday. I mostly tweet about general everyday stuff sometimes just like to spread joy, fun and masti

3. Which other social networks/microblogging sites do you use apart
from Twitter?
I use FB I used to use Orkut earlier… but now kinda dont access it regularly… and I tweet and I am addicted to tweeter now. Gawd!!! Save my soul and yes, my job also! Puhleeeeeseee.

4. How many accounts do you have on twitter?
One is enough… do hote toh I would have become a zombie and my eye would be buldging out by now… outta house, outta job only on twitter. One is enough. Still pleading – God! save my soul.

5. You feel twitter has a good future or its going to be a spam-bay
like Myspace?
Hmmm – trying to be serious… I just protected my updates today. Spammers are everywhere today and I am sure soon twitter will be swarmed by them. But if you have a platform the beauty is to use it to the best effect. And just protect your account and u can avoid the spammers. Shimble!!!

6. Have you made real-life friends from twitter? and met them personally?
Yes, I went to one tweet up till now and met some wonderful people. I am part of the DDgang and though I have not met everyone personally but they are just wonderful people and I know I will carry their friendship through life.I have also made a very very dear friend – Harish Iyer through twitter. Mwaaah to him.

7. How can u say one’s addicted to twitter?
Hahahah ask me buddy… I sms also by adding @ and yesterday I sent someone a mail and was referring to a friend by @. and i speak important words with hash tag even typed one in office document recently. Seriously God save mah Soul!!!!

8. Which twitter clients do you use? Which is your favorite?
Web and web and web… not very user friendly though but I have used tweetdeck in the past and loooved it.

9. What’s life for you without twitter?
Hmmm… I think I wouldnt have some lovely people in mah life that I met through twitter… I would miss updating frnds of funny, serious, meaningful things in daily life and sharing ideas…

10. Do you tweet first or check mails or read the newspaper when you wake up?
Nope I exercise first thing in the marning…. heheheh. And then I check mails… I deliberately open twitter later cause if thats the first thing I do then I will be hooked to it and daily chores will suffer.

11. Do you worry if someone unfollowed you?
I keep gaining and loosing followers everyday… I cant really figure out who has unfollowed me cause I dont go to the followers list in details at all. So nah dont care… and I know those who are in the close circle will never unfollow. Kiya toh unki waat lagegi

12. Do you ever try to relate your business with your twitter account and tweets?
Not really… but yes yes… I am sometimes guilty of shameless self promotion… God! are you listening please save mah soul…
