Marooning self to Quit Smoking? Brave!

There are hundreds of ways people have tried to quit the smoking addiction. But none of them have been totally successful, and this attempt that am sharing below, is something totally different!

Mr Spice, 56, from Surrey is going to get himself marooned in an island where he will not carry any addictive products like cigarettes with him, just because he wants to quit the smoking habit. Mr Spice was the managing director of the top investment bank in London.

no smoking

Sgarabhaigh, which means Cormorant Island in Gaelic, has no houses, so he will camp there, also has no electricity or water supply, so he will rely for fires from driftwood and a camp stove and bottled water.
He smoked around 30 cigarettes per day! And he is prepared with stuff like Guitar which he would try to learn, and also taking an iPod that has around 120 books text in it.

Mr Spice began smoking 43 years ago as a paperboy, when he stole some cigarettes from the shop where he was working. He has previously tried nicotine patches and gum, a self-help book and going cold turkey in an effort to kick the habit, but nothing worked.

He is going totally alone, and staying alone, and hopes to quit the habit of smoking within this month of stay there.
Has anyone been more creative and brave to attempt these kind of ideas to quit their smoking or drug addiction?
