To all my friends, readers and everyone! Wish you a very Happy Friendship Day. Its a special day for those who have friends and believe in core friendship.

This day is celebrated after this incident in the history:
In 1935, a person was killed by the American Government on 1st saturday of August and in his memory, his friend committed suicide the very next day. Since then, the American govt. declared the day as Friendship day and this has become popular worldwide.

First sunday of August is celebrated as Friendship day. I don’t like things to be formal, so am not so good at exchanging cards, bands! I just message all my friends or meet them/call them to wish them.

The world’s ambassador for friendship is Winnie-the-Pooh who is usually given in small doll sizes, by friends. And after being introduced in America, this day has been accepted worldwide and same is done everywhere except in a few countries like Argentina, Spain where its celebrated on 20th July.
