Luck hindi movie review

Luck is a movie inspired from an English movie(don’t remember the name) and based purely on life games played with the power of luck. Here is a short story to explain what the movie is about:
Thanks to Internet Curry for the story(am too lazy for that)

Luck is a story about this boy, Ram Mehra (Imran Khan), who is burdened by a lot of circumstantial problems, and reaches a point in life, where he has the capacity, but no opportunity, to come out of the mess that unfortunately life has offered him.

They say, luck is when opportunity knocks and you answer.
Something like this happens to Ram, and as he accepts the opportunity, by chance encounters, Ram recognizes his own strengths to pull him through the difficult times that lie ahead.

Only he did not know that the problems do not end, but a game of betrayal and putting his luck at test at every step starts. He has to conquer the hurdles raised by Moussa played by Sanjay Dutt to win this game of money, greed and the biggest addiction of betting.

On his way he has the support of Shruti Haasan, playing his love interest, Mithun Chakraborty, Danny Dengzongpa, Ravi Kishen, Chitrashi Rawat and others.

luck hindi movie

Ok here is the review:
Its not a movie that everyone would like. It just depends on the taste, and how well your luck supported you ;) The movie has just a couple of songs, and it is cut with selection of people in the first half and their life games in the second half.

The role played by every character was pretty good, except that of Shruti Hassan who was not upto the expectations, and this wasn’t a good entry for her into bollywood if you ask me. Imran Khan with his original innocent look was good, and Sanjay Dutt did the best as always.
If the end part of the movie was given some different angle, then the movie would have got more likes than dislikes. It was meant to give some emotions there but everyone just laughed there, making it a hilarious end.

A couple examples of dialogues used:
“Mujhe Paiso Ki Nahi, Tujh Jaiso Ki Zaroorat Hai”
“Main Khareedta Nahi, Sirf Bhaade Par Leta Hoon”

And most of the movie is based on the dialogues which were the best part. Seriously, if you are not that good in Hindi, then don’t watch it. You won’t be able to catch with the frequency of the dialogues used.

The song Khudaya Ve was pretty good and slow one. And some parts were idiotic. Like while falling from the helicopter, in the air there is good control with Imran Khan and Shruti Hassan, and he saves her with his parachute. And in the end, Imran jumps from jet on a fast moving train, and saves the heroine!

Overall, i liked the movie and suggest to watch it once. The rating goes 3/5
