Apple WWDC 2009 was awesome
Apple WWDC conference yesterday which i never attended, and wonder when i would, but still its always good that the big gadget sites like MacRumors etc. did the live coverage of the event, and Apple released quite some good new products and improved many others.
The first best thing that happened was release of iPhone 3GS – The fastest and powerful iPhone ever with features like Video recording, MMS sending, and faster in many features than the previous version.
Apple also released the 15″ Macbook Pro with unbelievable features for the battery – 7 hours battery life, 8 GB RAM and upto 500 GB hard disk space. The battery has 1000 charge cycles. It also changed the pricing for Macbook Air.
Safari 4 browser finally came out of the beta version and has more than 150+ features studded in, also it has passed 100/100 for Acid test. There are many more additions, and this browser is claimed to be the Fastest browser in the world.
iPhone OS upgraded to 3.0 version. Cut/copy/paste option which is seen in every mobile OS finally arrives in iPhone OS. And bluetooth can be now used to connect to the internet through laptop using the iPhone’s internet connection. There are 100+ new features in the new iPhone 3.0 OS.
Other big release for Mac users is the Snow Leopard which comes with added features from the previous version, and this is available for $29 for the previous Leopard users. Worth upgrading!
