Twitter account got suspended without a reason

WTF! I never expected this happening to me. My twitter account @sizzler_chetan got suspended, and am not sure why. Twitter has not sent a mail telling any reason for the suspension. Primarily that might be some suspicious activity – 1. Sending links/Spamming 2. Following hundreds of people at once(which can be suspicious)
I did none of them and was normally tweeting. Then why was I suspended?
I usually report spammy accounts to @spam and try to make twitter a better and cleaner place, and i got kicked out. I sent a mail to twitter support saying:
Hi,
My twitter account http://twitter.com/sizzler_chetan got suspended without any reason. You have to let me know what suspicious activity i had done for the suspension of the account.
My account is not spam, and is total legit. This is what a member who reports spam usually to twitter, gets finally? Suspension of his own account without any reason?Please let me know what wrong did i do and what’s the reason, and please restore the account. I can make hundreds of twitterers prove that the account is not spam or something deserving a suspension.
Let me know ASAP.

And a very idiotic automated reply came in:

30 days to review an account? I mean why do you selectively go and suspend accounts that are not spammy and just leave those accounts with a link in every tweet like here is an example – Fitness Diet Twitter Account. Check the tweets there, and number of people they follow. A spam kinda account which is running fine. See this search! The same tweet repeated again and again. And twitter not getting alarmed about this???
@twitter i want my account back. I know i don’t own twitter to be so demanding but still when i did nothing, i don’t need to get suspended. Do spammers attend tweetups and promote twitter and its apps in their blogs? They don’t because they are spammers. I do, i am not a spammer!

There is a very high chance that you will get a reply saying that you got caught in a spam cloud.
I tweeted about this to @spam.
@Farrhad am worried about just one thing. How much time would it take for them to check and reply.. nothing else.
I know i did nothing wrong but the only worry is about time being taken.
Lets see.
Sometimes following a spamming acct also may lead to this kind of mishaps. But, nothing to worry ask people to recommend you that you are not a spammer which helps you to get urs acct bck. Its really unfortunate that just after the yes’day Tweetup u lost urs acct.

Yep that’s sad i lost my account after yesterday’s tweetup.
I am waiting for my friends to RT the same thing to notify twitter and they can restore back the account.

I did notice that your account got suspended. Knowing you from so long, i never believed that your account could be suspended for any suspicious activity or spam.
I just checked, username ChetanBhawani is still available on Twitter. At least grab it before someone else does. Let’s say if you are unable to get your first account, at least you will have a good twitter ID to restart the things with!
Although, still we hope for the best! I hope you get your old account back.

Wise thing u said to grab the other account, as nothing can be predicted about twitter. Am still not sure now after this time gone, that i would finally get a reply from twitter or not.
So better going to keep that ID registered with myself. I always was good at twitter and loved it until this sudden shock.
I am sure they’ll restore the account. We are here to prove that you were not a spammer. You remember what hapened to @leplan ‘s account right? He got back his account without much ado. I am sure @twitter will realize this mistake and do the needed. Dont worry and keep us posted through your blog.

Dont know why @twitter did this.. every day we see lot of spam accounts and leaving all those why @twitter is doing this for a straight forward person.. looking at this we all feel very insecured coz this can also happen to any of us..but dont worry.. we all will support you to restore your suspended account as we all know your account is NOT a SPAM
Same here man. I have a site that is recording history. http://obamavideonews.com The only posts that go to twitter are the most recent post through twitter tools. This is so bs I built the following thru twitter now its gone. WTFFF
If someone ‘blocked’ you even by mistake (not the same as ‘unfollow’), Twitter is pretty much obliged to check if something fishy is going on.

And in such cases, it makes sense for Twitter to first suspend the account and THEN look into it. After all, a serious spammer can create a pretty big mess in just a few hours.
So maybe one of your novice followers, new to Twitter, blocked you by mistake?
Nothing to worry about, and no reason to go all ‘private and protected,’ I’m sure.

oh man! This exact thing happend to me today, I woke up this morning and realized my account got banned for no reason. @jonathanhu was my account, but now … its suspended. Any idea how I can get it back? plz help

Same thing happened to me this morning i didnt do anything but they suspended me. So i emailed them saying why did i get suspended they were telling me about the rules. Right now there investagating onn my account
