Congress rules the nation once again
The Indian Elections 2009 counting of the votes was done yesterday, and in the center, once again Congress had itself strong enough to win it with a big margin. And now after Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, its Dr. Manmohan Singh who has won the elections after a full 5-year term consecutively.
I was not too much caring about the central govt. whether it was going to be Congress or BJP but i seriously wanted TDP to win in Andhra Pradesh where the technology and hi-tech world is totally ruined under the present CM Dr. Y.S. Rajshekhar Reddy who just looks too much for villages and rural areas and cares 0% about the cities and their development.
The entire hi-tech city was a creation under Chandrababu Naidu’s hand 6 years back and the plan for one of the biggest airport’s in Shamshabad, Hyderabad was his, but Mr. Y.S. just got lucky with all this by winning it last time, and this time too.
Chandrababu was unlucky with lack of rains in villages and the fields went dry, and he could not provide utmost help to everyone there, and lost majority of his support. Congress took the advantage that time and made big promises, and forgot that Hyderabad is one of the places that should also be looked after, to make it a Hi-Fi city like Bangalore, Kolkata, New Delhi..
In Gujarat, it was Narendra Modi and he continues to rule there, and that’s pretty good.
Congrats to Congress for ruling India for 5 years, and continuing to rule it.
