Slumdog Millionaire – 9 Nominations for Oscar Awards
The rags to riches movie, Slumdog Millionaire has got 9 nominations for the Oscar awards this year. Its a very honorable take on the movie, as Oscar is the award anyone would be always expecting to win, or at least get nominted for. And 9 nominations is a big one for Slumdog Millionaire.

One of the awards that it surely deserves and everyone hopes it may get is -
Music Song where 2 out of 3 nominations are for Slumdog, one for Jai Ho and other for O Saya, where A R Rahman gave his perfect touch.
Lets hope for the movie to get at least one award in the Oscars, and let the pride of Indian people rise. Danny Boyle, the director, provided an excellent piece of example of Slums in India and some realities with poor people in India. Although many said that he exposed the Underbelly of India, but it was not totally focused to show that. It was a story of a boy whose fate was written.

SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE will surely win for Best Picture! Also it will gain awards for Music. The soundtrack was excellent. The Editing was superb and above all, Boyle will get his Best Director trophy!
Good to know. I’ve heard some people in India didn’t appreciate the movie at all.
Yes, many said that it showed the bad part of India and showed all the loopholes about Indian slum areas, but overall nothing was totally wrong and bad.
