No “Victory” for Harman Baweja
I think i wasted my time watching a movie which i already was expecting to be a flop. I should have not watched this movie.
The trailers explained most of it, and the story was a common one which every sports related movie has.
Harman Baweja as Vijay Shekhawat is a poor lad in Jaisalmer who becomes a top international player in a small time, and then goes towards the wrong way in greed of happiness and money, instead of name and game.
His father Anupam Kher advises him a lot but Vijay keeps on with his bad track, until he is removed from the team. Then comes the sentiment part where his dad gets extremely ill, and he realizes his mistakes and pleads his coach to allow him to play in the Champions trophy finals. He is allowed and he helps the team win although injured(Concept inspired from Dhan Dhana Dhan Goal where John Abraham gets injured, still plays and wins the game for this team).
The sound effects, camera effects and acting are all from the 90′s. Nothing special except the sentimental moments that you can see in any sports related movies.
Anupam Kher did a lot better than Harman Baweja(When will Harman learn to be a man? He is still unchanged with his childish act from Love Story 2050).
My rating for this movie – 2/5 (Does not deserve 0.5 more than that too).
