You don’t need to be a Genius! Slumdog Millionaire Says!

I am talking about the movie Slumdog Millionaire, a really interesting and good movie. A 18-year old boy Jamal Malik, who wins 20 million rupees in the “Who wants to be a millionaire” show hosted by Anil Kapoor in the movie.
He explains how he could answer every question, as some incidents related to them happened in his life, the bad times he went through, and everything. And finally after he won the 10 million question, he was handled to Police by Anil Kapoor who actually cheated with a wrong answer but the boy did not answer that wrong.

The next day, after enquiry, he again plays for the final question and wins it! There is a mix-up with Jamal’s brother Salim and Latika, a girl whom he loved. The time when he says “You don’t need to be a Genius”, was still the start of the movie and i could not understand that.
Later, it was clear that it was really the Luck and actually bad luck in his life, that brought good luck to his life in the end.

His brother Salim, who was sometimes selfish, in the end sacrificed his life for Jamal and Latika. Some emotional scenes and some not-so-good scenes, but one would give it a rating of 4/5 for everything, including the good story.
Its surely worth watching, for those who are still craving for reviews.

Very True! The summary of the film is “It’s Written” Indeed, it’s pity that it took a British filmmaker to make such a great movie about India. :(
