Every game has some limit of game play, and only the talented players cross the limit of extreme gaming, and the same goes with fielders, not only the Batsmen and Bowlers. Taking catches is not very easy sometimes, and in those hard situations when you do some miracle by taking some sensational catch, that’s when you are showing the best game of yours.

And so, i took some time to check for the best catches, present as videos in youtube, and there are quite many. Of those, i selected these 6 catches as the best ones. And you would really enjoy watching each and every catch. Interestingly, you might re-watch a couple of those videos to believe that was that catch a correct one or not!

1. Paul Collingwood – Took a brilliant catch in the slip position, jumping right above to fetch the speedily moving ball on his head. One would generally miss that catch, or sometimes just would not be able to judge if the ball was coming their way, due to the minimal reaction time. But Collingwood was active enough.

2. Dalrymple Catch of Watson – This can be sometimes called as the most widest catch in history of Cricket. Watson might have not expected this as a catch, but well received and caught by Dalrymple.

3. Paul Collingwood.. again! – This was another awesome catch by Collingwood against Australia, the victim being Hayden. Collingwood had to go to the wrong side and still took the catch with his right hand with a good stretch. Great one!

4. Matthew Sinclair against Australia – Near the boundary, one would either try to save the boundary, or should learn from Sinclair how to dive near the boundary line and dedicate yourself to take such a beautiful catch. A single-handed left hand catch, with a good stretch.

5. Justin Kemp during ICL’ 2008 – Here is where the height comes into use. He jumps and finally gets it into his hands, and ends falling cms inside the boundary. What a marvelous effort. A long and high jump, landing on single leg, and falling just near the boundary.

6. THE BEST ONE – Bichel dismissing Kyle Mills – This is the most amazing of the 6 catches above. Bichel took the catch with a jump in front of the boundary, then could not have the control, so release the ball high ensuring that he can go out and come back in with full control and then took the catch in perfect style. You should not miss checking this one out.

Which is your favorite among these?
