Rock on.. The movie just Rocks! – Review

Rock on.. You might have heard about this movie already if you are in India. As there is no one who kept silent after watching this movie and i did not see anyone saying that this movie was not good.
The movie was awesome, Just awesome! I expected something else to be the story but was totally out of mind for me.

Here’s a small excerpt about the story -

Movie starts with the 4 friends, Aditya (Farhan Akhtar), Joe (Arjun Rampal), KD (Purab Kohli) and Rob (Luke Kenny) who were rocking on with their music, and the scene suddenly changes with Aditya and KD becoming businessmen. Joe becomes a music teacher and Rob working in a studio.. None of them were in contact with each other.. I could not figure out the reason why, but then Sakshi(Prachi Desai), Aditya’s wife finds some snaps and video of Adi’s past and his group.

She tried to invite Aditya’s group for his Surprise birthday party and Joe did not show up there. There i could get that there was something between Joe and Aditya that led to this break-up. The movie then continued with the story of how it happened and everything. Some emotional scenes which can bring in some tears if you are a sensitive person like me.

Then they re-join and the group except Rob comes to know that Rob has brain tumor and he had wanted to perform in front of the audience at least once before he unfortunately dies. There is lot more in the movie but the story is organized in such a manner that i can’t write it in the time gap i got to write this post.

For those who did not watch the movie, i suggest that it’s worth watching at least once. The songs, direction and everything was excellent.

Farhan Akhtar, i thought he was a good director but now got to know that he has couple more qualities – Acting and Singing.

My Rating – 4/5
