Today was my first actual clinical practice in the dentistry career life. Because today i had extracted a tooth from the patient who had some infection in and around the tooth. It was an awesome experience, fearful and exciting too..

I was told to give a nerve block to anesthetize a patient yesterday, which i did. But did not practically remove a decayed tooth from anyone’s mouth which was successful today. I am just happy with this and actually more happy that i could judge myself as capable of performing extractions on patients. I never had confidence on myself, but today i was very bold and could do it.

Did today -
Extracted a 1st maxillary molar in the first patient.
Then extracted all the 3 molars in mandible of the next patient.

So total of 2 official entries of patients till now!
