Hyderabad has a lot to learn from Bangalore

In my recent visit to Bangalore for the Barcamp, it was more time for me spent travelling around than being in and visiting all the sessions in Barcamp.

Been there for 2 days, and all of the time when i was out discovering new places in Bangalore, i was fascinated with everything there.
The buildings, the roads, people and standard of living.

First off.. the roads. They were so clean and flat. You would just imagine why Hyderabad does not have that kinda roads. You go with a speed of 60 mph. on those roads with ease, but in Hyderabad, the traffic-less streets also allow us just a maximum of 30 mph. Its not the traffic rules that might oppose it, at least the very frequent ditches and speed-breakers would stop you from going speed.
Isn’t Hyderabad one of the metro cities which has become popular for its developing infrastructure and wealth? Then how come the Government has just ignored/forgotten the road maintenance?

Then comes the people.. No, am not at all against the Hyderabadi people. They are awesome.. But still not everybody. There are people who most of the time, talk in a way which is just called rude.
In some selective places in Hyderabad, people try to be superior to every other person around them, this is just their mentality which is not appreciated by normal people who do not try to be superior to others and understand where they stand.
In Bangalore, i saw some real humanity and i could easily make out the difference between people there and here. Even the autowalas were good with their job and used to talk in a straight way, not trying to involve any greediness to earn more.

The buildings – They were just too good and the shapes, heights and everything was so cool. Just looks like India is advancing, through Bangalore. When talking about this, my brother Amit asked me – “Have you ever been to Hi-Tech city in Hyderabad? It’s just the same!”. But only that particular place might be the same. Not the whole city of Hyderabad right?
There was a structure similar to the CN towers in Malaysia which were 2 towers connected in middle. Just loved the places like Hebbal Lake and its vicinity where everything was looking good.

And the flyovers, which were are double and triple in length and also overlapping one another, this never would make any traffic glitch.

These were just the short instances which i could share as i was not there for more time. Just 2 days impressed me a lot, and am frank with my views that Hyderabadis are really not upto the mark as they claim sometimes.
It was really developing when Chandrababu Naidu was the chief minister, but then it just stopped its developmental signs and is growing slowly! Lets hope to see a better Hyderabad.
